I was thinking, have you ever had your car power windows stuck half way because of a short or the cold or some other thing, then you have to drive around for the next three years like that because you cannot afford to get it fixed. Why don't car makers have an override or a handle that you could keep in the glove compartment so you could at least turn the window up manually, for safety, and to protect the car if nothing else.

In winter many cars will lose there mufflers and tail pipes due to deep ruts in the snow. This is a noise pollution and poison gas concern. My solution is to have a metal plate installed over the muffler, that would act as a sled protecting the muffler by changing the 90 deg angle to a 45 deg angle, causing the car muffler to slide over the ridge rather than dig in to it.
